El ex defensor del pueblo andaluz José Chamizo de la Rubia ha sido investido doctor honoris causa por la Universidad de Cádiz, en Algeciras. Con esta concesión, el centro universitario gaditano quiere destacar el trabajo del sacerdote barreño en defensa de los derechos humanos y de los colectivos más desfavorecidos de la sociedad.
